Sarah Hallock-Zamora, MPP: Proven expertise in non-profit and clinical operations.
●
Sarah Hallock-Zamora has built a rewarding career in the non-profit and clinical operations field. Starting during undergraduate years at UCLA, she began interning and volunteering with numerous nonprofits advocating for civil rights, immigrant rights, LGBTQ+ youth, mental health, and suicide prevention.
●
Following her graduation from UCLA, Sarah began working for the Trevor Project, a suicide hotline for LGBTQ+ youth. As the Manager of Crisis Services Operations, she spearheaded initiatives which optimized these critical services and managed a team of crisis workers.
●
While working at the Trevor Project, Sarah moved to Chicago from Los Angeles and began studies for her Masters degree in Public Policy at DePaul University. As part of her masters program, she earned a minor in Healthcare Administration which enhanced her knowledge of the healthcare field and clinical operations.
●
To further expand her knowledge, she supplemented her studies by earning a certificate in social work, practice, policy and research through the University of Michigan.
●
As she worked on her masters degree, she taught herself how to found a non-profit organization and began to share this knowledge with her community.
●
Sarah formed Benevolent Edge and launched her consulting work with numerous private practices and non-profit organizations in the Chicago area. Benevolent Edge culminates Sarah’s education and operations experience to make your vision a reality.
